Purchase and Delivery

Can I return the artwork?


We are certain that you will love your original artwork! But in any case we offer a 14-day no question ask return policy. Simply send the artwork back to us in its original condition and packaging to obtain a full refund. For more details, please refer to our Return Policy.




Do you ship worldwide?


Yes, our paintings are shipped to most countries using internationally-recognized couriers.




How the artwork is shipped?


To ensure smooth delivery, we ship artworks with UPS Express and other prime courier services. When your item has shipped, you will receive an e-mail confirmation with a tracking number so that you can track the status of your shipment. You can use the tracking number provided to track the estimated delivery date.

As with all artworks, the shipment will need to be cleared by the customs duty in your country of residence. UPS has specialized brokers in various countries to ensure that the clearance process runs as smoothly as possible.




How do you handle duties and taxes?


Artworks shipped locally do not incur additional duties or taxes. For international shipments, any relevant duties and taxes will be calculated and charged upon delivery of the items.




What payment methods do you accept?


We accept all major debit and credit cards from customers in every country through our secure checkout system via Stripe, including American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa.




I would like to inspect the painting before purchasing. Is it possible?


To see the chosen artwork in the highest possible resolution, head to the artwork page and click on the image. This will allow you to zoom in the artwork at maximum quality and explore every single brushstroke.

Do you offer framing options?


We offer framing on a case-by-case basis. We would be happy to recommend framing options and provide you with a quotation. Please contact us at contact@russian-ark.com to discuss your requirements.




How are artworks authenticated?


All artworks sold by us are accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist. This ensures a solid provenance for your artwork which is crucial if you consider selling it at the secondary market at a later stage.

Moreover, artworks originating from Russia go through an additional authentification procedure as part of the statutory exportation process.




Do you ship in a roll or flat?


For each artwork we offer the most suitable and economical way of transportation. Typically, smaller works, works on paper and solid surface (plywood, wood panels) are shipped flat. Larger paintings are shipped rolled in a tube, unless this is deemed inadvisable by our experts (e.g. due to the characteristics of the painting film or of the canvas), in which case they are shipped flat.

In case you have any additional requirements, we will be glad to revise the shipping quotation to accommodate your needs.

No matter what your budget is, on www.russian-ark.com you can find museum quality artworks at every price range. Drawings and small oil sketches are an affordable alternative to larger paintings, while still adding value to your collection.
